I always thought that the powerbook came after the ibook and the ibook came first but I don't know. Which came first powerbook or ibook?
PowerBook: Apple's second laptop ever. Introduced October 1991.
iBooks came after the introduction of the iMac. iBooks appreared July 1999.

I inserted a CD of my own to find out what it contains and see if I can burn more pictures into it. The Powerbook G4 does not even recognize that the CD is in it since the CD icon does not appear on the desktop.

I have bought ilife 09 and imovie wont run on my powerbook G4. Is it possible to buy a new graphics card to make imovie operate on my machine?
No. According to the system requirements, you need a G5 to run iMovie 09.
iMovie requires an Intel-based Mac, Power Mac G5 ...

My dad has a Leopard and installed it to his computer so he gave the cd to me so I can install it to my PowerBook. When I put it in it make a few noises then it pops right out.
