How can I clear the hardrive of my broken iBook?
January 14th, 2010 | by admin |The problem is that I’m selling my old Apple iBook online and I can’t erase the hardrive because it won’t turn on. If the person that I sell it to ends up fixing it, I don’t want them finding my files. What can I do?
Is the hard-drive broken?
If not, you should get the hard drive out try to find a computer to put it in, put it in the other computer, boot up, erase the files, put it back in your computer.
Or
Bring it to a computer shop so they can clear it.
If your computer won’t turn on you can’t really clear the hard drive. Also the problem may lie in the hard drive itself.
