How to create a free iChat Account

Description: iChat is a very good IM client with support for screen sharing, file sharing, etc, which you can use for free on your Mac. I’m almost always online and I offer help and tips and troubleshooting. I encourage you guys to create this account because it’s much better than sending messages via YouTube.

    i click the icon and it shows up in the menu bar but no window appears to let me sign in to my aim account. When i go to the menu i cant click preferences and i nothing happens when i click accounts. The other menus are not even useful in the least can you help me in any way. I have a Mac OS X 10.5.6
