EeePC running Tiger

Mac OS 10.4.9 (Uphuck 1.3) running on an EeePC at 633MHz. Nothing but Celeron fun ahead! Shows the timing and speeds of the OS. Hopefully gives you a feel for the OS.

    There is a way to get Atheros Wifi working, but only in Leopard 10.5.5 (not in Tiger or 10.5.6 or later). So you would gonna have to use an USB-Key or External HD if you don’t want to change HW.

    Because it can, not becasue it should.

    For 200 bucks plus another 129 for the OS, you get a sub-sub-standard Mac. Sure its interesting, but actually working on it would grow old ed quick.
    Mr. Blue Sky is pretty cool though… nice memories.

    i have run 10.4 at full speed in low-end powerbooks, and even in the lower (233mhz) it ran great! you will need at least 128 of ram, reccomended 192, and it will boot after install with 64 megs if you want to.
