I think Snow Leopard won’t be as big of a hit as Windows 7. There is a reason why it costs only $29 to upgrade. For that price, I will upgrade but if they decided to charge me $129 for a Service Pack then I’d probably just skip it.

I see, how it is when snow leopard is released. from using the demo it seems good. more stable than leopard, and the frontend is faster. Windows 7 is pretty polished.

I am sorry that you had a bad experience with Leopard but again, most people switch to Mac because of personal experiences as well, not because of the ridiculous, lying and deceiving ads that Apple puts out.

Personally, I use a Mac because of compatibility - I run Final Cut and Coda on Mac and I use Windows Vista for PhotoImpact and Bioshock.

But hey, I am glad that Windows 7 is working great for you! I will buy it once it comes out, it seems a lot better than Vista.

I never have …
I never have trouble with the Os, so its fine. works better than linux for sure. Leopard I had to too many problems, and ed me off that my mac was getting slower over time so I build a PC. runs Xp and 7 fine. no BSOd’s in Xp, 1 in the windows 7 beta because of the nvidia drivers were beta (1 year ago). but other than that its okay.
I crashed leopard many more times. I crashed a Mac pro at the apple store.

I am a Mac user and you are right, the hardware on PC is amazing.

I wish there was i7 in iMac but Apple being Apple screws us with hardware.

But trust me, while I do envy your pc hardware.. I do not envy your OS and i think the OS is why most people switch, not because of the better hardware.

more than half the things you listed exist in a PC weather they come standard or not. Also you can’t say something is better if it has the same function. An Aleinware laptop that coasts as much as mac is so much more powerful. Let’s see mac put a core i7 in their laptops.

you can make one simply with the help of microsofts own program, visual basic or a simple text editor, i know your an idiot so go look up what that is but it can give you complete control on tasks the computer makes thus the user becomes useless and the virus on auto run the computer becomes completely and utterly useless.
