Dual Boot Vista and OS X Leopard

Easy way to Dual boot.
1. Install Vista or OSX
2. Install the other one
3. go in to Vista
4. Download and run easyBCD i used v1.6
5. in easybcd select “ADD-Remove Entries, select iMac/macbook and give it a name (what ever you want)
6.Now select (from left) Diagnostics Center, SELECT Repair OSX “HFS+ Partition Error.
7. Click Attempt Recovery.. this may now read Recovery Attempted.
8. Reboot and Fingures crossed.
You should now be able to Dual Boot Vista and OSX.
How to install OSX.
1. First you need to find iATKOS v5 or similar and install, there are many guides out there.
Best methord is to use boot-132 and install a Retail DVD of OSX 5.5 this way you have a clean OS, this require a Intel CPU ” Core2 is recommend.
If you are new to OSX may take a copule of days/weeks to get hang of it, its not bad, at all. but you will still need Vista/XP for certin things.
Once you have done all this, you will need Drivers/Kext files for your LAN, Audio and Video Cards. so find them at www.insanelymacs.com
MY PC Specs are:
Asus P5K-E AP/Wifi Motherboard
Intel Q6600
Nvidia 8800GTX
4GB RAM
24″ Samsung Monitor.
Works Perfectly.

my custom built computer is amazing.
3 terabyte HDD’s!
It has windows vista, windows xp, mac OSX.
Soon to have windows 7 and snow leopard also.

It doesn’t matter, if I get Adobe Photoshop CS3 for OS X or Windows, they are the same, only 2 differences, compatibility with the OS, so it will run on the OS, and the GUI is arranged for the OS’s GUI. My computer loads Photoshop CS3 on a Pentium 4 faster than it does in OS X on a Core 2 Duo.
Also, the program I use for Music, MAGIX Music Maker 15 Premium, looks better than Garage Band.

personally i think …
personally i think that macs software is first class, they usually come out with new tech way before windows does. The only down side to macs are the price. You can pay the same amount for a windows computer with the same specs for roughly 600 bucks cheaper. So a winning combo must be a windows computer with the software of a mac right? thats what im going with at least =) If only the software allowed my computer to use N wifi or teather internet like macs =/

Yeah your right dude.. but overall in my opinion Mac is a very good Computer it looks verry sharp in quality and it has some good Programs like Final Cut Express

is iATKOS another form of 132-boot disk. i’m trying to figure out y it’s necessary if so. I’ve already downloaded and burned a boot disk, just waiting for my OS to dnl’d. i guess my plan is to boot up with boot disk, replace with leopard and install, reboot with boot disk, install drivers and then use this easybcd in vista…does that sound right to anyone? please respond
