How do I mount an ISO in OS X as a disk in a DVD drive?

I need to use a program that I own and have backed up on a hard drive, but when it mounts as an ISO it installs, but doesn’t run. The program needs to detect a disc in a physical drive. Is there any way to mount an ISO in Mac OS X so that it acts as a physical DVD drive and not as just a mounted ISO?

    Build a PC to fit your needs instead of the "One Size Fits all" motive found with Mac and pre-built Dell, Hp bullshit.
    That’s what PC stands for PERSONAL COMPUTER!
    My advice is to build or talk w/ an expert on getting a computer that’s perfect for your needs.

    Basically if you had a computer that was perfect for you and you understood how to use, you wouldn’t be having this problem.
