How do you switch itune music from a Mac Os9 to an Windows XP?
February 17th, 2010 | by admin |I have a lot of music on my mac, and when I try to switch it over to my windows it isn’t compatible.
I need to switch to get things on my mp3 player for long car drives.
Don’t have money to bring it in right now.
Any ideas?
If your Mac has USB ports, get a cheap flash drive and copy everything over that way. Unfortunately, since you’re on Mac OS 9, there’s no other easy way to copy stuff from Mac to PC without spending money on software for either machine (Thursby Software’s DAVE would give Mac OS 9 the Windows networking protocals, or MacDrive for Windows and a firewire card would give the PC the ability to read your Mac’s hard drive without even pulling it out of the Mac).
Also, you may want to look into getting a copy of OS X for your Mac; you can find older versions on eBay and at various online Mac parts stores.

Well, I’m not sure if Homesharing works on a mac OS9, because I have a mac OSX , but thats how I got all of my Itunes songs from my macbook pro to my PC. Just see if you can do ‘Homesharing’ on Itunes with both computers…and that should work.
