How do I set Mac OSX to my default operating system after installing Boot Camp?

June 30th, 2009 | by admin |

I installed Boot Camp on my iMac and now Windows XP comes up whenever I restart my computer & I have to hold down option to get to OSX. I obviously don’t want XP as my default, so how do I fix it so that OSX comes up first? Thanks for any help and have a great day!

You can use the Startup Disk app in control panel in Windows or Mac OS X Startup Disk preferences to set the default operating system to use each time the computer starts up.
