Macworld San Francisco 2000-The Mac OS X Introduction (Pt.1)

June 5th, 2009 | by admin |

By request, here is when Steve Jobs introduced Mac OS X for the first time ever. I edited the video myself to show the very best moments of the presentation & split it up into 3 parts on account of youtube’s bogus time limit.

Duration : 0:9:34

You do understand, of course that OSX is NextStep, right? Not that I disagree with the rest of your comments, just that they brought him back, junked their next “OS9″ project and used the NextStep ets.

Nothing to face - they are both even - Final cut = Adobe Premiere. Logic = Pro Tools or Sonar or Cubase, etc.

    Mac OS X = NextStep …
Mac OS X = NextStep/OpenStep 4.0. Before Jobs came back to Apple, he talked crap about the Mac OS saying how NextStep was sooo much more advanced, etc. It goes to show that Jobs will always say great things about whatever makes his pockets bigger/deeper. Its’s also true that he disliked Apple so much after he was fired that he sold all of his stock and turned to making software to run on Windows - talk about a traitor.
