No, it’s not. It works instantly on my Mac mini. And what’s the benefit of it being “personalized”? It’s faster to use Spotlight and the Dock and they don’t use your system resources—unlike this, which is an app.

i still think its …
i still think its best for all mac users to stick to the FINDER way to surf your files and folders, apps and stuff. Its fast, it has all the setting you need if you like to, so i think you dont really need this type or app. Its fine and has great power “quicksilver” but still, instead of going thru this hole process to get it, keep it out and use finder, its best. Great video man!

Quicksilver doesn’t just search for the files like Spotlight, it gives you options to interact with it and predicts what program you are looking for by keeping count of which programs you use most.
