What’s the best way of downloading and running Day of the Tentacle on my Mac with OSX Tiger?

I want to download it for free (it’s 15 years old and I own the PC version anyway..!), and run it on my intel Mac, running OSX 10.4.

Is this a Windows only game? If so install windows on bootcamp, parallels desktop or vmware fusion on your mac and run it that way.
