Netbooks use the …
Netbooks use the Atom architecture which is no better than an old celeron. The G4 is outdated now (2006) but at 1.5GHz it would still beat an Intel Atom netbook in performance tests. The G4 also has solid construction, more features, more ports, better ports and has native support for OSX. A later model G4 between £300 and £400 is a steal and can still beat some windows laptops in the same price range. Look at the actual specs rather than just the numbers in the shop window next time k?

Processor is not …
Processor is not about speed. Sure it has some to do with it. Look at architecture(Plays a HUGE roll in speed.) and cache.
3 months ago. I would have been bashing this thing just like you, how overpriced it is and what not. If you look into apples laptops, they truly make some very solid products. I think they’re desktops are WAY overpriced.

The 15″ screen is pretty much the only thing that would top a netbook (Or mine atleast)
Lets see, 1.5GHZ processor? My netbook beats it. 2 gigs of Ram? Same - moving on - 80 gig harddrive? Mine is 2 times that.
I could go on, but it’s semi pointless. I really don’t see the point in what you were trying to get at. My NETbook, is about the same as your APPLE NOTEbook. What were you saying?

No you didn’t. If you did some research you would see what a steal a PowerBook g4 with these specs for 250$ is. Have fun with your cheap netbook. This is a NOTEbook not a NETbook by the way. Two different things.
