    it’s also dumb to specify the tiger as ’siberian.’ in history, the smaller the tiger, the more ferocious it tends to be. siberian tigers, because they live in colder climates, tend to be more docile and less aggressive. bengal and javan (extinct) tigers, though smaller, proved to be more aggressive. that’s why the romans used them in the coloseum.

    i love tigers and lions, and agree tigers are probably superior. but your logic is stupid. tigers taking over packs of wolves is nothing like facing hyenas. hyenas have the strongest jaws of all land predators.. stronger than lions and tigers both. they are also much larger than wolves and have much larger packs (30+ hyenas vs. 10 wolves). wild dogs are immensely intelligent and fight with their brains not with their strength. brain > muscle, and though cats are smart, watch a wild dog hunt.

    Siberian tigers …
    Siberian tigers would own any lion andy day any time. Just look at them… they look like 1/3 larger than any male lion. Male lions arent as strong as they look. WIthout the mane, Im pretty sure half of these lion fans wouldn’t even be here. Tigers have been known to take over large packs of wolves while lions struggle against puny hynenas and wild dogs. TIGERS FTW!!

    Do you know that a lion doesn’t even hunt? It’s the lioness that hunts. So a Lion (male), does basically nothing…..

    Tigers on the other hand, live a solitary life of hunting and caring for itself. It has amazing hunting skills and the ability to sneak up on almost any animal.

    In conclusion, Lion would get raped by a Tiger. Tigers are generally larger and has much better hunting skills.
